Sarah Gane, ex DSN with the Tower House practice, now a community DSN with North Somerset, attended the AGM on 10th March. She told us about the work of the Peer Support group based in Weston. Volunteers get quite extensive training in supporting diabetics and then are able to man a telephone help line. Obviously, the more volunteers there are, the less often people are called on to man the help lines. Anyone interested can contact us using the comment reply facility or call Barbara on 791494.
